Everyone sees what they need
Four roles keep client work, your studio's business and each project in the right hands.
Owner
Everything: the company profile, projects, proposals, client messages and the team. Only the owner hands over the company or names admins.
Admin
Sees and manages everything the owner does, every project included, apart from handing over the company.
Editor
Works on the projects they're added to: tasks, notes, files, comments and team chat.
Viewer
Can read the projects they're added to, without changing anything.
A private workspace for your team
The client sees the project's Timeline. Your team also gets its own space behind it, which the client never sees.
Tasks
Give a task to one person or several, with a due date. Each marks their part, and everyone sees their own tasks in My tasks.
Team chat
One chat per project for the team, with @mentions and photos, videos and PDFs.
Notes
Things the whole team should know, kept with the project.
Files
Photos, videos and PDFs for the team, including what was shared in chat and comments.
History
Every change, who made it and when, the same for everyone on the project.
The right people
Up to eight people on each project, each with what they handle.
Good to know
Your team
How many people can join my studio?
Up to 25 people besides the owner, with up to 10 invite links waiting at once. Each project can have up to eight people on its team.
How does someone join?
You make an invite link in Settings, under Team access, with their name and email. The link opens a short sign-up for that email; once they sign up, they're part of your studio. An unused link expires after seven days.
Can team members have their own profile?
Yes. A member can build their own Apture profile from their account menu. Your studio never sees or manages it.
Clients and projects
What does the client see?
Your company profile, your proposals and the project's Timeline. Tasks, notes, team chat and files in your team's workspace stay private to your team.
Who handles proposals and client messages?
The owner and admins. Editors and viewers work only inside the projects they're added to.
Can I hand over the company?
Yes. The owner can offer ownership to a member of the team, who accepts it from their account.
